During lockdown I attempted to keep myself sane by working on a constant series of little projects that I could complete over a weekend. The code is intented to run on a board like the pybadge, and uses an US100 Range Finder to determine distance. Every now and then I need a project that's more of a bodge job then a well structured, perfectly executed, clean solution. My electronics projects tend to lean towards being a hot mess due to my lack of experience, but that's what I like about it.
